AAP ke Satta

Delhi win had made Kejriwal over confident.  This win had raised his hopes to win in other places too.  He seems to think that if elections are held once again in Delhi, his party will win a sure majority.  AAP getting lesser seats than BJP should make him think twice before opting for polls soon.  By refusing to form government with unconditional support from Congress exposes his fear to run the government.  His failure to grab the opportunity to form government and show his ability, or at least make attempt to give good governance conveys that he is man of words and not deeds.  I feel Arvind Kejriwal of AAP should form the government with the support of Congress and put a step forward for good governance.  If ever another election is held he will lose as people lost trust in his ability and may elect BJP as they are sick of Congress.

Finally Telangana Bill is introduced into the Assembly.  The discussion also started.  So it has to end.  Shortly it will reach the President of India and Parliament.  But Telangana people are still not in a mood to celebrate.  They know that until the bill is passed in parliament they can’t be assured of Telangana State
The unity of Telangana public representatives is impressive.  I have a doubt.  Jaya Prakash of Loksatta Kukatpally MLA and Jayasudha Congress MLA from secunderabad has won from Telangana.  Now what will they do?  Do they support Telangana?  It will be a lesson to people that they should elect native people only as their representative.

United Telangana

Telangana Joint Action Committee is doing great job by meeting all Telangana MLAs and MLCs.  Irrespective of party affiliations the TJAC is requesting all the Telangana public representatives to act in unison.  As Telangana formation is imminent all the TMLAs are also working out strategies to act united in state Assembly.
Everybody in Telangana is anxious to see that the Telangana Bill comes for discussion earliest.  We do not know what the Seemandhra speaker, Seemandhra CM and pro Andhra governor do to delay the discussion.  Whatever they might do they may delay the process by few days but cannot stall it forever.  Delay causes only unrest in the state and agitations results in derailed progress of the state. As the Union government has taken decision, and bill is formulated by the Central Government, whoever is in the government in future will have to move the bill and finally pass it.  The two national parties, Congress and BJP have committed for Telangana.  Telangana formation is definite in short time.
The Seemandhra politicians should realise this and instead of playing polytricks should put forward their requirements to be fulfilled after demerger of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh.  At this historical juncture all sensible leaders should act with wisdom and foresight.  Let the division take peacefully so that in future Telangana and Andhra people will move together as Telugu speaking people but not as rivals.

Hey Seemandhras, understand the aspiration of Telanganites and stop all dramas.  Do not test the patience of Telanganites.  Their patience is their strength.  Their patience is not weakness or cowardice.  They have immense capacity to fight.  They could throw out the Nizam to join the Indian Union.  The Indian government is now behind them.  Just don’t make the situation worse that you are asked to leave the state within 24hrs as happened when Andhra state was formed in 1953.
Jai Telangaana!  Jayaho Telangaana!!

Pregnancy - Fetal movements

Once a woman is pregnant she keenly observes all the changes in her body.  Just after three months of pregnancy many worry about the size of their abdomen not increasing.  Usually, until three months are over there will be no apparent change in the abdomen.  The gravid uterus grows into the abdomen from 4th month onwards.  Slowly there will be fullness or, if gravida is thin, bulge in the lower part of abdomen can be seen.  This slowly increases till 9th month.  Later as the head enters the pelvis – birth canal the height of uterus may decrease slightly.  Any anxious gravida who conceives after infertility treatment can feel reassured by feeling the increase in the size of tummy.
The most important observation a gravida should have is of fetal movements.  Fetal movements are generally felt in the 5th month of pregnancy (18-20th week).  A sensitive gravida can perceive movement as early as 16th week of pregnancy.  By 20 weeks they must be felt by the gravida.  The first perceived fetal movement is called ‘quickening’.  Once the movements are felt they have to be perceived well until delivery.  The perception of movements felt in the 5th month gradually increases till 8th month.  In the 9th month the movements may not be as many as felt in 7th and 8th month.  There is slight decrease as the fetus settles down and head descends into the birth canal.
In high risk pregnancy – where pregnancy is complicated by any other medical condition or pregnancy complication, gravida should observe fetal movements regularly.  Usually the fetus’ resting time is 15-20 minutes.  Fetus generally moves at least once in every 15-20 minutes.  In high risk pregnancy gravida is asked to keep a count on fetal movements every day – Daily Fetal Movement Count (DFMC).  Gravida is asked to count at least ten movements and note the time taken for the same.  Every day within that same period of time she should feel ten movements.  If time increases day after day fetal compromise is suspected.
To count 10 movements may take more than two hours and it may be stressful to watch continuously for 2-3hrs.  I advise my clients to observe fetal movements for an hour - once immediately after waking up, again in the afternoon and before retiring to bed.  She should feel four movements in an hour, three is must.  The total movements felt in a day will be 10-12. If she cannot feel three movements she has to observe another hour and feel 3-4 movements.  Even in the second hour if she is unable to feel at least three movements she has to consult.  This is the way she can be assured of the fetal movements, and well being and consult obstetrician at earliest if she could not perceive movements as said.  This helps in decreasing sudden fetal deaths in late pregnancy.  This simple clinical follow up advice has helped me to save few babies at right time.

It is good that every gravida in late pregnancy keeps count of fetal movements and consult the obstetrician when the movements are not felt for more than two hours on observation.

Mettugutta Ramalingeshwara Temple

Entry arch
Warangal is a city of historical importance.  The Kakatiya Kings who ruled this city had built many architecturally and sculpturally beautiful buildings and temples.  Kakatiya kings being Shivaites have built many Shiva temples.  Thousand pillars temple and Ramappa are world famous for engineering marvel also.  There are also lesser known temples which are unique in their own way.
On the way to the temple.  The one seen is Ganesha temple.
The piled stones - Twin rocks are called as 'Donthulamma gundlu'
These were stones with which Hidimba played 'kacchakayalu'!
Mettugutta Ramalingeshware temple is special for its serene location on hillock surrounded by rocks, trees and water trenches.  Anyone traveling in a train passing via Kazipet railway station can have the glimpse of twin rocks and temple.  The temple is about 2Km from Kazipet railway station on the highway to Hyderabad from Warangal.  This is half a kilometer from the main road in the village Madikonda.  The rocky road to the temple passes between rocks and trees and water trenches. According to local people, in this beautiful place love blossomed in the hearts of Hidimba and Bheemasena.  The area between the twin rocks was the abode of Hidimba and people believe that Bheemasena had fallen in love with Hidimba during their exile into forest.
Another mythological story is attached to this place.  Lord Rama during his forest stay along with Sita had lived in this area.  Here, he worshipped Lord Shiva – Swayambhu Linga.  As Shri Rama worshipped, Lord Shiva here is called as Ramalingeshwara.  Temple is said to be built by Kakatiya kings.  Lord Rama’s temple also is built here.  There are nine gundams (water trench) – Pala, Ginne, Kannu, Kathi, Rama pada/ Bheema, Brahma, Vara, Mangala, Chakali gundams, around these temples.  These gundams will never dry up in any seasons.

Swayabhu Shivalinga.  The one behind it is sculpted one.
Recently silver panipattum is made to cover the original one.
The temples will be open everyday in the morning from 6AM to 1PM and 5PM to 7PM for regular rituals.  On second Sunday of every month 'Mahanyasa Poorvaka Rudraabhishekam’ is performed by the Mettu Ramalingeshwara Seva Samithi.  All the material for this ceremony is provided by the Seva Samithi and anybody can participate in it for free. Those who want to take part in the abhishekam should reach the temple before 8AM, men should wear lungi and shella on shoulders and women should wear sarees.  After the abhishkem lunch is served for all. Special festive rituals are held on Mahashivaraathri and Sree Ramanavami, when people throng for puja and abhishekam.
Mahanyasa Poorvaka Rudrabhishekam
There is a small library with spiritual books and free health camp is held on  2nd Sunday of the month. There  The view of tricities looks wonderful from here.  Also we can view the trains passing on the tracks from Kazipet railway station.

This temple is under endowments department.  If this department takes some interest and develops this area by cleaning the gundams and beautifying the surrounding areas will make it iconic pleasant tourist spot in Warangal district.  This can also become attractive location for shooting movies too.

CWC - T? RT?

Everyone in Telangana and also in Andhra Pradesh is waiting for the Cabinet meeting that is going to be held today.  This is going to decide the future course of action of people of Telangana and TRS.  This may also have a strong reaction in Ralayaseema.  There the people or people’s organization may now be watching closely for the decision.  This division of Rayalaseema is the wish of the powerful factionistic capitalistic feudal politicians.  Common people seem to have no say here.  There are no agitations or a demonstration for the formation of Rayala Telangaana or division of two districts of Seema by the people any region of Andhra Pradesh.  This proposal may benefit a single party who has its presence in old city of Hyderabad.  The politicians of Seema have initially spoke of merging with Telangana and not with Andhra Pradesh if a separate Telangana state is formed.  Later they changed their stand and are asking for state capital of Andhra Pradesh to be in Kurnool.  Selfish and cunning Andhras want to get rid of Kurnool and develop capital in coastal Andhra, and could influence the GOM to put forward the proposal of vertical division of the state.  This weakens Seema people for ever, their identity stands questioned, can never be able to fight for separate state in future and at present even fail to demand for a special package for the development of its backward regions.  Water problems will be there with or without Rayala Telangana.  The tribunals and water boards will anyway have to tackle this.
People all over the state are believe that the proposal of Rayala Telangana is brought about only to stall Telangana state formation.  Andhras do not want Telangana state to be formed, and they can go to any extent to prevent its formation by means of lobbying.  If they cannot stop the formation, they at least see to it that it is postponed for an indefinite (infinite) period.

All Congress people talk of CWC as the highest, supreme body of Congress party and its decision is final.  CWC has decided to give Telangana with ten districts as of now with Hyderabad its capital.  Now they want to propose something different brings down its level.  Once the decision is changed there will be demand from Seemaandhra politicians to roll back the decision of Telangana state formation as declared by the CWC on July 30, 2013.  If the CWC changes its decision for R-T, for sure congress will lose its credibility not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in the nation forever.  The Congress party should show its strength, and prove its credibility by forming Telangana state with its 10 districts as of now and Hyderabad its capital.
