International Day Of Peace

World celebrates International day of Peace on 21st September every year.  First time it was celebrated in 1982.  A specific theme is adopted for that day and UN works to fulfill that goal.  This year's theme is "The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace"Absence of war is important for peace, but peace will be in the world only when human rights are protected and every person can have his/her basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, health, education and employment are fulfilled.  All the governments in all countries should take steps to provide it to all its citizens as basic right.
